The Calabogie Smiles Dental Hygiene Clinic.
Calabogie Smiles first started as a mobile only service in 2017.
From there we upgraded to a home office, and now a clinic at the Calabogie Medical Center. We are wheelchair accessible.
Meet Tamatha Strachan, Owner of Calabogie Smiles.
Tamatha Strachan is a Registered Dental Hygienist who graduated from Algonquin College in 2002. Before this she was a Dental Assistant having graduated from the same institution years prior. Since becoming a hygienist she has earned her experience in general dental practices where her passion for Dental Hygiene grew. Tamatha became a self-initiating hygienist in 2010 which sparked her interests to open an Independent Dental Hygiene Clinic. With strong roots in Calabogie, and recognizing that our remote community can make getting convenient dental hygiene care difficult, Tamatha formed Calabogie Smiles in 2017.
It is important to Tamatha, that all members of her community have access to affordable and convenient Dental Hygiene care. Calabogie Smiles allows her to provide quality services in a comfortable and relaxed setting. She enjoys working with clients who are apprehensive to receive dental treatment due to fear or past experiences. In her spare time, Tamatha can be found reading, painting, gardening or spending time with family and friends on the lake soaking up all of the joy and love that life has to offer.
Calabogie Smiles Cares.
Your comfort is always our priority. Whether you’re visiting our clinic or scheduling a mobile appointment, you can rest assured that we follow enhanced safety protocols and uphold the highest standards of care. Beyond our practice, we’re proud to give back through initiatives like Gift From The Heart, where we donate dental hygiene appointments to individuals in need each year. At Calabogie Smiles, we believe in caring for our community as much as we care for your smile.
