Calabogie Smiles Clinic.

Calabogie Smiles first started as a mobile only service in 2017. From there we upgraded to a home office, and now a clinic at the Calabogie Medical Center. We are wheelchair accessible.

With current Covid-19 guidelines we are currently unable to provide services outside of the clinic. When this changes we will update our patients. View our Covid-19 Protocols here.

TAMATHA STRACHAN

Owner/Registered Dental Hygienist

Tamatha Strachan is a Registered Dental Hygienist who graduated from Algonquin College in 2002. Before this she was a Dental Assistant having graduated from the same institution years prior. Since becoming a hygienist she has earned her experience in general dental practices where her passion for Dental Hygiene grew. Tamatha became a self-initiating hygienist in 2010 which sparked her interests to open an Independent Dental Hygiene Clinic. With strong roots in Calabogie, and recognizing that our remote community can make getting proper dental hygiene care difficult, Tamatha formed Calabogie Smiles in 2017.

It is important to Tamatha, that all members of her community have access to affordable and convenient Dental Hygiene care. Calabogie Smiles allows her to provide quality services in a comfortable and relaxed setting. She enjoys working with clients who are apprehensive to receive dental treatment due to fear or past experiences. In her spare time she is an active member within our local Lions Club. If she’s not volunteering her time she is reading, painting, gardening or spending it with family and friends soaking up all of the joy and love that life has to offer.

Calabogie Smiles Cares.

We ensure that your comfortability is prioritized. Whether it’s a visit within our clinic, or a mobile appointment where I come to you - you can rest assured that we’re following enhanced safety protocols and exceeding expectations. Outside of the clinic we serve our community through basket donations for raffles. You’ll often see Tamatha going the extra mile to give back however she can. It is with community that we truly thrive, we welcome you to the Calabogie community with open arms.
